The 30-45 odd generation for example is still very left leaning & liberal & has barely shifted rightwards. 2020 election will be an interesting test for the GOP & 2024 could be the realignment.

Agree with your comments; but if global political events are teaching us anything, it’s that realignments are happening much faster than we’re accustomed to.
