Crazy results in Kentucky, probably enough is in to make a strong Bevin win unlikely.

Beshear is probably the favorite now.

This wasn't about Trump, though it does show Trump rallies aren't huge boosts for his choices.

This was obvious even before this election (WV-SEN 2018, MT-SEN 2018, etc.).

Yeah, I haven't just come to this realization. Hopefully the dumb takes that Trump rallies will ensure a Republican victory stop now. Trump rallies have very little effect.

There is still quite a few counties who have yet to report any results. Could they be big enough to tip the election in Bevin's favor?

Possibly

Nope, not happening.

Remember when Atlas said Beshear was gonna lose by 5-9 points?

Didn't Trendsarereal think it'd be a double-digit margin?

Remember the VA counting bias.

Only Beshear is winning amount KY Dems?

Wow, so it really is an anti-Bevin vote at the top.

Yeah, it looks like Dems have fallen just short for SoS and the rest are landslides.

The only bad thing about this win in KY is now a lot liberal are going to waste money against McConnell.

That'll force him to moderate though.

Nah, it won’t. It will only force him to take his race more seriously, which isn’t going to help Democrats.

Eh if McConnell hoards cash then perhaps that could mean a bit less for other Republicans in more competitive races.

Republicans have lost these elections. Even if the GOP wins MS and LA, it's over. This is going to hurt President's Trump's re-election, makes me very sad Sad

I don't think so. Bevin was unpopular.

Wasn't the attorney general's race close as well, even though the Republican squeaked it out?

Secretary of State, but yes.

Impressive for Hood that it's closer than the Senate race given Reeves is not as flawed of a candidate as Hyde-Smith and that Senate result was pretty close for MS anyway.

A lot of people predicted Bevin wins by mid single digits. I did buy into the hype and overestimate him even more, like some other posters, but the consensus wasn't that Bevin would win by 10 points or whatever, the consensus was that Bevin would win and so that includes everything from a 0.1% Bevin win to a 20% Bevin win.
