AN ACT
To provide financial protection for workers in emergencies
Be it enacted in both Houses of Congress

Section 1. Title
1. This legislation may be cited as the Ensuring Emergency Pay Act.
Section 2. What qualifies for the payment

Section 3. How the payment is calculated

Section 4. Administration

Section 5. (Potential) Employer Penalty

Section 6. Funding
1. Any revenue raised in the Missing Alzheimer’s Disease Patient Alert Program Reauthorization Act that has not been dedicated to funding the provisions of that Act shall be used to fund the provisions of this legislation, to such an extent that this legislation is revenue neutral.
Section 7; Implementation
1. This legislation shall take effect in the first full fiscal year following its passage into law.
