It seems weird that Democrats went from 64% of US output to 61%, if I'm reading that right. Especially since they did a lot better overall than Clinton, so you'd expect if anything the percentage to increase. Perhaps this indicates Democrats improved on Clinton in rural areas, if so that could be a bad sign for Trump as even a small shift against him could mean he doesn't win 270 electoral votes again.

Re: CA-21  Kings seems to be just about done counting votes and Valodao has a 2200 vote lead.  If the counties in the district each make up the same % of the vote they did in 2016, then you would expect Kern to still have about 7500 votes to add and Fresno 3500.

Does that mean Valadao wins? How much of a chance do you think Cox has?

And Republicans have failed to hold a single open district that went for Clinton.

Looking at the historical pattern that's pretty unsurprising.

Mia Love was so opposed to Trump's bigotry that she voted with him 99% of the time. Very brave of her.

"Voted with him". Yeah most of those votes were standard party line votes on things like the budget and procedural matters. I can disagree with her on the size of government, but that's more tolerable than disagreeing with someone who dislikes me for being born the wrong skin color.

I, for one, am not celebrating that the only black Republican in the House has lost, someone who was mocked by Trump for opposing his bigotry.
Demographic representation means NOTHING if the person who is there is voting against the best interest of said demographic.

So should white people vote in the "interest of [their] demographic"?

If you're asking if white people should vote Democratic, the answer is yes.

Nate Silver said CA-23 instead of CA-21 twice(in tweets). Weird.

The 2018 election was truly an Attack on Titan. So many titans slayed.

Yeah, definitely not a good night for Unbeatable Titans.

Unbeatable Titan Dean Heller
Unbeatable Titan Adam Laxalt
Unbeatable Titan Carlos Curbelo
Unbeatable Titan David Valadao
Unbeatable Titan Dino Rossi
Unbeatable Titan Young Kim

All slain. The only remaining Unbeatable Titans are Unbeatable Titan Will Hurd and Unbeatable Titan Jon Tester, both of whom only narrowly survived.

They were slain by greater titans, duh.

Unbeatable Titan Jacky Rosen/Wacky Jacky
Unbeatable Titan Steve Sisloak
Unbeatable Titan Debbie Mucarsel-Powell
Unbeatable Titan TJ Cox
Unbeatable Titan Kim Schrier
Unbeatable Titan Gil Cisneros

These were undoubtedly great titans, as shown by their past results and my ALL-POWERFUL GUT(UTDH beating STRONG CANDIDATE Shelley Berkley, Rossi winning WA-08, Valadao's landslides), but ultimately Jacky Rosen is just such a charismatic and inspiring candidate that any possible opponent is DOA.

Meanwhile, Rep. Valadao's (R) lead in CA-21 has gone down to 440 votes as of yesterday ...

Looking forward to watching this finish, this is the midterm that keeps on giving.
