I've just given the TL a good read and it looks good. It's interesting to see Comey and Mueller do well, and it's good to be reminded that Romney would be different from Trump. The immigration reform was interesting and surprising given the GOP(and that Bush failed), however with big majorities and a strong mandate it seems possible. Healthcare reform was interesting, though I was surprised about Romney's position on prescription drug prices. With Ukraine, where did the troops go exactly? One of the things I think should have been done by Obama was give greater support to the Ukrainian government, not direct intervention but supplying them with lethal weaponry, and I hope Romney did that. I don't like the travel ban with the Ebola epidemic though. The 2014 midterms were interesting, Romney has done very well and it seems a bit like 2002.

Romney is doing very well, it looks like 2016 will be another 1984 at this rate. Wonder if Hillary's email scandal still comes out or if Bernie does better.

I could be wrong but I think the Democratic field will be larger then in OTL. Even if Romney is heavily favored I think the Democratic establishment will be less likely to clear the field for Hillary in a world where she's associated with a one-term administration.

Maybe there'd be a narrative that Hillary would have done better than Obama and have been a two-termer and so she should have been nominated over Obama in 2008. While she did serve in his cabinet the 2008 primary was very bitter and tightly contested.

Interesting developments. How is the TPP different or is it the same as under Obama?

Interesting developments. Unsure if the TPP passes at this stage but it'll be cool to see where you take this!

Interesting that the Tories won a bigger majority in the UK. Not sure what'll happen with Brexit but think this prevents Theresa May calling the snap election.

I actually expected Bernie to win because of the divided primary and the Dem base would be more rebellious after their 2012 defeat. Still, wonder if Hillary has a shot in the GE or is Mondale 2.0?

What would your prediction for both the Presidential and the Senate(just tell me which seats you think will Flip ).

Not sure yet about presidential. With the Senate is it the same seats as irl? I think the GOP will retain New Hampshire and gain Nevada(they may well have without the Access Hollywood tape), so no net change(as they still lose Illinois and I struggle to see any further gains).

Wonder what the 538 forecast is TTL. Hopefully there is no major polling error but in a 3-way race like this there may be a sizable polling error-though Romney will ofc win but could have something surprising like Romney 53%, Clinton 36% and Bernie 9%.(1992 and 1996 were big errors after all). Just my guess.

Wow that's a landslide. Tbh though Romney may have a slight increase in a no Bernie race as some Bernie voters just wouldn't turn out, not 100% would go to Clinton.

Good on Romney(though saying that would be basic for any President other than Trump)!

Oh wow. How did they speed up their nuclear program since I think it's supposed to take until 2022 for NK to have that ability(but US intelligence being flawed would be unsruprising)

What was the bit in the bottom about a chemical attack on Syrian civilians? Is that a deliberate hint or not?

Interesting. Might libertarianism have its moment as was speculated in 2013 & 2014, or is Rand Paul doomed to low single digits?

lol at Trump's speech. Any chance his actual net worth is leaked in this TL?*

*I remember reading on a TL on AH.com his tax returns were leaked and he wasn't a billionaire at all.

Interesting, though neither seem like they'll get above low single digits.
