Just because the Labour Force Participation rate is going down doesn't mean we're near another depression. Baby Boomers are starting to retire, and there are 70 or 80 MILLION of them, obviously the national rate will decline when that large a number call it quits. People just use the decline in this rate to bash Obama, it's not like anyone ever paid attention to it before besides economists.
