Yesterday I had a Carolina Barbecue Chicken Sandwich(?) from O'Charley's. Later I had leftover spaghetti.
Today I will be having Paella. It's frozen and comes from a bag, so i'm not expecting it be very good. If it is, I'll just have that; if it ain't, i'll probably fry me a couple eggs and have that with baked beans and toast.
Frozen paella from a bag is a crime against humanity and its taste. Whoever invented it should be sent to jail and/or shot
As far as frozen copy-cats of exotic foods can be good, it wasn't all that bad. It didn't actually include much seafood in it at all (shrimp and shallots, you can guess their quality), so it was basically just spiced rice and veggies.
Also, for the sake of my reputation, getting it wasn't my idea. My mother has this complex that I can only imagine came from growing up in a hyper-Christian community during the heyday of the Moral Majority where she (and only she) has to cook dinner every single day. Adding this onto the fact that she doesn't really like cooking but is super experimental when it comes to food that she eats results in the above scenario over and over again.
