Gillibrand is my favorite of the bunch. I also like Castro and wouldn't have an issue with Biden getting the nom since he seems to be so electable.
McCain/Romney/Clinton voters would mostly not be voting in a Democratic primary, IMO.
Probably not, depending whether the state is an open primary or not (or worse, a caucus), but if the R primary is just Trump unopposed and the Democratic primary is competitive, they might vote in the D primary.
If Trump doesn't have a challenge and there's a candidate like in the Dem primary I'd switch registrations to vote for that candidate.
