Probably.

They got the positive test on Thursday night. Today is Saturday. So in his mind, he probably went about thinking “Thursday to Saturday is 3 days (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday), therefore 72 hours.” I don’t think he meant for people to bust out the calculators and start figuring out when was 72 hours ago exactly from his moment in time.

If it absolutely had to happen, which I don't think it does, I'd want a medical assassination of Trump to involve something a little less painful than strychnine. We're not Agatha Christie villains here.
