Whoever Bernie endorses during the 2020 primaries. Probably Warren if she decides to run.

Oh, I thought the question said who they are going to nominate in 2020. Sorry. If we're talking about a "progressive champion", probably Harris or still Sanders, even though he won't win the nomination. I don't see Warren going anywhere.

Well I still highly doubt that Sanders will run. He's more likely to play the role of king maker, not king.

The real question is who he decides to throw his support behind come 2020. I could definitely see him passing the torch to Harris if she decides to work with him on progressive causes in the Senate. However, I'm not entirely sure she'll do this. Democrats are already beginning to turn away from Bernie Sanders and towards Obama to lead the party. Which is understandable to a degree, Bernie is still a registered Independent, but that might be the wrong move.

Obama has already stated that he wants to groom a new bench of Democratic leaders, and Harris seems like a likely recipient of that treatment. Not that that's a bad thing, but I'm starting to wonder if Obama has lost his edge.

Gabbard represents the far-right, not any sort of "left."

Red avatars are constantly pushing this narrative on this forum, and I can't understand why. She's a bit libertarian when it comes to foreign policy; that's it.

Libertarian is an awfully strange descriptor for someone who calls it "disgusting" that we are bombing enough Muslims.

Sorry, you're right. Libertarian was the wrong word to use. Liberal is probably more accurate.

Harris has no major legislative experience. She got nothing done. She is a 1 time Senator. On what basis will she run? Being AG of CA? She is soft on TPP!

Another CA elite with identity politics? Good luck trying that in WI.

I think whoever Bernie endorses will have a huge advantage since Bernie will probably campaign for that candidate as well. If Bernie endorses Warren, then she could unite most sections..

How is she soft on TPP if she opposes it?
