Why doe the Democrats do so well in this state? It was Kerry's second best southren state in 2004 and gores third best in 2000.

I was asking peoples opinions too because I live in VA and I think it's getting more Liberal and I have three words to describe the reason Yuppies and Immigrants.

It's true though go to Fairfax to see what I mean by Immigrants or go to Loudoun to see what I mean by Yuppies.

Another reason it's getting more liberal besides Fairfax is the fact there is alot of people from very liberal Northeastern states like NY and MA.

Like Fairfax the main reason it's trending Democratic is the fact that there is alot of people from the very liberal parts of the Northeast living there. Also Leesburg is heavliy Hispanic.
