What I don't get is why Biden supporters 2nd choice is Sanders and vise versa. The one is the leader of the progressive wing and the other the leading moderate. How does that fit together, or is this only about presumed "electability"/name rec?

I feel that electability/name rec does play a big role in this + the fact that Bernie and Joe's bases overlap with each other (working-class people and/or individuals without a college degree, a good portion of them are not white). Of course, the media overlooks this and just think it's just Sanders and Warren fighting for pretty much the exact same base.

Warren should hope that Harris calls it a day if those numbers are accurate.

I'm thinking the same.
