Just saw the first count in NE-2. Ashford trails Eastman by 200 votes, but it's early. Real shocker is that Krist is not running away with it in the Gov race; Ward is pulling a lot of votes.

Ashford may be saved by Sarpy County results, I am hearing none of the are on the board as yet.

Eastman is currently leading in what has already reported from Sarpy.

Jesus.

I like her, I really do. But she is not going to win in November. The GOP smear machine will make mincemeat of her.

I'm worried about Ashford, Boerio, and Morganelli. Glad Fetterman is pulling this off though!!

If Ashford loses I'll have to say I never saw it coming.

I worry Eastman will drag the ticket down in Douglas county-Omaha- and hurt Krist statewide.

What is Eastman like? As in specific issues. Is she the more progressive candidate?

Yes, textbook Progressive. Fine person, wish she was electable here.

NE-2 could be in recount territory.

Krist won the Governor nomination but... Vanessa Ward got over 25%. she carried about a half dozen smaller counties out state. The only thing I figure is resentment by some longtime Democrats at having Krist 'pushed on them '.
