BILL GATES FOR AMERICA

JULY 2nd: File with the FEC, have interviews with news networks.

FOX INTERVIEW:

EXERT: "Well, America is really being hurt by our two-party system. Our County really needs change, and I believe I can bring it. I am a classic liberal. I am fiscally conservative, and socablly tolerant. I'm the best of the two parties. I would be able to pass the tax-cuts the Republicans want, and reach out to the liberals for their agenda. Now, that is if I will run. I am not sure I am going to yet. I still need to think it over."

JULY 3RD: Wires 30M Dollars into Exploratory Committee.

JULY 4TH-6TH: RESTING, PREPARING FOR CAMPAIGN

JULY 7TH: First Rally

Sacramento, CA

Thank you all for coming here today! Wow, this is a big crowd. This humbles me, it humbles me greatly. So, as you know today, there are many issues with our country. Our taxes are up, it is killing our businesses. You know our president, President Bush, he really is a good man. But he wasn't able to keep one simple promise. Anyone remembered when he said 'Read my lips, no new taxes'? And what did he do? He raised the taxes. And he raised it to an amount to where people are hurting. It pains me to see what is happening in our country. I have a plan to fix this, and I have a vision for America.

My vision for America is to have a more tolarant society, where we have lower taxes, smaller government, but bigger freedoms. We should return most of the power back to the states! In my vision of America, we will spend less money on waste, and return it to fix our failing infastructure. We will build our country back up from the ground and it will be stronger then ever. Our military will never had been so strong as it would be under me as president. I don't intent on using our military, but instead having them as peacekeepers around the world, so we can preserve our planet, and stop the endless wars.

But yes, there are many problems in our country. And together, with all of us, we can solve them. That is why.... I am officially running for President of the United States. Our nation will return to being number one, and we will be more prosperous. Thank you, together, we can build a stronger America!

BILL GATES: DEBATE NIGHT

Do you believe that our current election system unfairly favors the Democratic and Republican Parties?

Yes, I believe it does. First of all, even the Commission of Presidential Debates is bipartisan. They'll do everything they can to get someone that is not a Republican or a Democrat off that stage. Second, when was the last time someone who was not a R or a D won the Presidency? It was 1848. George Washington warned us about what would happen with a two-party system, and it looks like what he said has came true.

The North American Free Trade Agreement is slowly beginning to turn into a major issue. Do you support NAFTA or are you opposed to it?

Free Trade is really helpful for our country, it helps our economy, and the country we are trading with's economy. It will benefit us, Mexico, and Canada. We should keep it, as it is a really good deal.

Why have you decided to run as independents and third party candidates, rather than running in a major party primary?

Well, I am tired of the status-quo. The two party system is ruining America. We have the Republicans and the Democrats wanting to kill each other. They are putting party over country, and it is something that must end. So that is why I am running, I wish to end the status-quo, and the gridlock in Washington.

Mr Gates, you call yourself a 'classical liberal'. What exactly does this entail and how do you plan to enact your ideas in an increasingly partisan landscape?

My policies and my views are the best of both parties. I am fiscally conservative, sociably liberal. That means I wish to have a smaller government, where the federal government doesn't give a hell about what you do, as long as you follow the law. As I am an independent, it is easier for me to compromise with both parties, better of all, I have policies that I believe most of congress agrees with. So yes, if I am elected, we will end gridlock in Washington.

Excerpt from Detroit Rally.

"It pains me when I see the American people hurting. It hurts me to see all the people loosing their jobs here. While I am a supporter of North American Free Trade Agreement, I do feel that we can change it to stop all the jobs from leaving this area. Michiganders are the backbone of this country, you are the people who work in factories, producing the needs of Americans. It is unfair that Canada and Mexico are stealing these jobs away from you. If elected, I will lower the Corporate Tax rate, so businesses and factories can expand in our great nation. Thank you, and I'll see you again soon!"

"You know, I don't mind abortion being legal, but I do mind it being legal nationwide. It should be up to the states to decide. Not the federal government. For example, the people of California may want abortion to be legalized, but it may not be the same for the people of Texas. So yes, if I am elected, if a spot opens, I'll nominate someone who respects the constitution for what it is. Liberal, conservative, or moderate, it doesn't matter. As long as they understand that the states have the right to decide what to do on the matter of abortion, they'll be considered"

I am going to be praying for you. I know how it feels, my Grandfather has Alzheimers and cancer. I know what it's like to go through this, so don't worry at all about this, and spend time with her and your family.

BILL GATES PRESS RELEASE:

So yes, I jokingly suggested that my supporters should help put me on the ballot in the Republican Primary in New Hampshire. My supporters took that to heart and worked their heart out getting signatures  and being able to meet the amount needed to get on the ballot. So yes, the people obviously wanted me on the ballot of the New Hampshire primary, so I will take it up at the Supreme Court. The people want it, though I personally don't. And that's how I'll rule as president, I will listen to the majority.

Thank you,
Bill Gates
