You think the fifth season is more bonkers than what has happened in real life, beginning with Trump winning the GOP nomination, and then the White House (with Russian assistance)?
Honestly, I think this series represents a world more sane than the one we are living in now.
To be bonkers or sane is not a binary option. There are many levels of bonkers. Season Five is on one level, the real world is, amazingly, on a higher one.
