So I guess this is where I make my debut then?

I'm Minstral, and the name is not misspelled. Leo asked me to be a part of this game that you guys have going on. Been hammering out details on what is needed to be done to takeover the for the Hoares of Harrenhal. By the sounds of it I'll be starting out with the former player's turn one problems (unless there was a miscommunication).

From what I understand I need to rank up some posts before I am able to PM the other players, but I'm not too sure on the number of posts that are required or where I can start.

Glad you guys liked it Smiley Very much appreciate it.

@Minstral Welcome to the game. I believe the post count you need is twenty. Just trawl through some of the other sections of the forum. There's plenty of threads you can quickly add something to.

@Leo Can we expect a mid-turn update?

About 20 posts.

Also, thanks for taking over for me.

Thanks for the welcome.

wouldn't mind knowing the sequence of the turn events though. Do we start a turn submit our decisions privately to Leo, wait for him to do his rolls and give us the results of the mid turns, and then we write a block of RP text to show how our public decisions turned out? Or do we submit both turn orders and post in the Westeros thread all at once?

Well until I get to twenty posts I may need to use Leo as a proxy if I want to discuss things with other players privately.

Specifically though, does a turn follow this pattern:

-Start turn, Leo updates events that we need to address.
-We submit orders and Leo calculates the results
-There is a mid turn that updates the ongoing events of that turn, and possibly presents new challenges that we need to address
-We finalize our decisions and submit them to Leo at which point the turn ends.

This was the sequence that Leo used on our last game a year ago, just want to know if it has changed.

The RP thread seems like a point where we "enhance" our decision process by adding flavor. When I read some, for instance that Targ-Brune duel, it seemed to me that the player needed the results before they could flesh out the details themselves (results and then dramatize). I am guessing though that this does not necessarily need to be the case. One could use it to outline/dramatize their own orders that they submit to Leo at the same time, correct?

And I will need to address the issues before Wednesday or on the next turn then?

I got my list in Leo.

There are several players that I want to speak with in particular, so I'll be trying o go into overdrive to get more posts on this profile.  (Why is that policy in place?)
