Authors note: I'll be going into further detail about the new makeup of the House and Senate in my next post. I also hope for this to be an interactive timeline (see Hindsight is 2020) with users participating as pundits. Reply and claim a pundit if interested.

I'm touched Smiley

Also, I would very much like to claim Rachel Maddow

also, how exactly did Bernie win the nomination over HRC in this verse?

I once again would like to claim my friend Kyle Kulinski.

And I assume that the email scandal really started moving, superdelegates started flipping.

They adore Bernie there. In fact, there's stories of Bush/Cheney signposts sticking in the same lawns as "Re-elect Bernie" signposts. They adore him in Vermont.

It honestly wouldn't surprise me if half of the state's population turned out for him.

Actually, I'd like to change my claim. I'd like Jonathan Pie.

Jonathan Pie Segment called: Thank F**k!

*Pie walks in the studio*

Hello, Tim. How was Washington? Oh bad, was it? Why? *silence* Sanders won. I thought you'd say that. Sanders won, so the gravy train for your friends in 'Murica is now over and you feel sorry for them.

Tim, Sanders is one of the best hopes for the middle and working class in the US at the moment. Him and Jeremy Corbyn are the only left-wing politicians in the world at the moment who could alter the course of the world at the moment, whether it's the Middle East, the economy, trade,  infrastructure and more. What's that? *silence*

No, Tim, he does not want to end capitalism, you austerity-loving Tory f**khead. He wants to make sure that it works for everyone,  ot just the elite few, so thank f**k he won. Oh you don't like that Tim. Well I'll say it again.

Thank f**k Sanders won. *Straightens up for broadcast*

Well the victory of Senator Bernie Sanders in the US election . . . *fades out*

Well I think a Jonathan Pie segment could get us restarted.

Jonathan Pie segment: Senator Turtle Loses It

. . . Jonathan Pie, Washington D. C. *stands still a few moments, before dropping broadcaster facade*

Tim, seriously, what the f**k is Mitch McConnell doing at this point? He said he was going to make Obama a one-term President, and look how well that worked out for him. He's the turtle from every Saturday morning cartoon show in huma for. He's a shapeshifting turtle, Tim!

What . . . No, that is not disrespectful! It's a perfectly apt description of just what the hell the man is *Enters McConnell impersonation* Our top political priority is to deny Obama a second term; we will make sure Sanders is a one-term President; we're going to delay his Treasury Secretary because we're sore losers *end impersonation* Seriously Tim, what the f**k is up with this man? He's a turtle in human form. With all the personality of one too. Actually that gives him far too much credit. The man filibustered himself, you know.

Yes, he did Tim! There's video footage of it! Sorry, what . . . yeah, yeah, alright, I'll go again *straightens up*

Thanks George. Well, explosive comments out of the Republican leadership today . . .
