What exactly is wrong with this besides "muh consumerist culture?"

Because we've already done enough to make enjoying the fruits of God's earth a commodity?  Same reasons I'm against deforestation and unchecked economic "growth."

now I'm not saying you or the Western Values Project are wrong here, I have no idea....but they are very clearly a biased source.  I just want to know what answer a lefty will except as an acceptable defense next time I use a clearly biased source for something. So...what you got?

I actually wanted to post the article that the site was quoting, but it had a subscription wall in the way.  I also found the page on a Facebook share.  And I'm posting a whole bunch of sht on multiple sites and didn't want to bother finding a better source.  That's my excuse.

Have you ever been to Disneyland? I assume not, because it's fantastic.

I went to Disney World twice as, like, an infant.  Nice place from what I remember, but I wouldn't want it on public lands.

If you're so concerned about humans and corporations ruining creation (a valid concern), why let people into the National Parks to begin with? It's not like a privatized camp ground is going to be any cleaner than the current ones.

Because I don't want to see hotels and amusement parks or attractions popping up around throughout these areas, and I sure as hell don't want these lands being sold off for mining and drilling.  How much leeway are corporations (which obviously pollute far more than your family of four camping out in the mountains) going to have assuming these lands are, in fact, privatized?
