Is the food there really better than what KFC sells?  I've gotten the impression that KFC is a national favorite, whereas Chick-fil-A love mainly derives from a regional circlejerk.  That's obviously not a huge surprise considering that few restaurants are located outside the South, but I've yet to hear a redeeming, non-biased case for it over KFC.

FTR, this wasn't intended to be a "Southern hate thread" or anything political or whatnot; I just wanted opinions on the food itself.
