I know- and I am sorry if I came off as rude or sarcastic...
My point is that many people (not necessarily you Scott) will point to events like these and assume or claim that they characterize the right...both sides have extremists and as far as I'm concerned- few deserve any attention at all

I don't have a problem with reporting about it.  When someone from the extreme left or the extreme right says or does something stupid, they've earned the negative attention they get for it.  But I agree, it shouldn't be used to generalize.
