Regardless of the environment, it's very clear to me after these specials that Walker has a near zero chance of winning the runoff. One of ME/NM/OR/MN Governor flipping is more likely than Walker winning the runoff

It's all about perception and making a convincing argument. It doesn't matter how "moderate"/"bipartisan" someone is. If you can convince the voters you are one through effective messaging, that's all it takes! Elissa Slotkin, Don Bacon, Maggie Hassan and Susan Collins are all good examples of this.

I think the media narrative in newspqpers/etc will help Walker slightly but if you Blue avatars expect a runoff to save him, you'll be very dissapointed

Again, the media is painting this as a win for Walker. For people that didn't watch the debate, it will influence them.
