It's not her position on economic issues that is why I'm against her. It's her authoritarian position on criminal justice issues that makes me and many other progressives not want to support her. We don't need Michael Bloomberg running for the democratic nomination.
And yes, nominating a white person might not win us Iowa or Ohio, but that's not the point. Stuff like Kenosha/Erie that was Dem 2012-GOP 2016-Dem 2018 is going to flip back to the r's if we nominate someone like her. Most Obama-Trump voters, like RFKfan and others have pointed out, are racist! They're not going to vote for a black woman from CALIFORNIA. I think Harris can win the general but her path will involve Suburban Romney-Clinton dems in Southeast PA(Maxing out Bucks/Chester), Arizona, FL, Georgia, NC, and TX.

If the Democrats want to double down on the virtue signaling cultural wars while doing nothing to help ordinary people, this is their candidate.

The Republicans make cultural wars out of it. The "solution" would be only nominate white male candidates. Not that it would bother me having a white male, but it's absurd. Competence, authenticity and values should count.

Ah yes, so competent and authentic!

Can we give the maroon avs their own "Kamala Derangement Megathread" So they don't keep spamming the 2020 Forum with individual articles?

Criticism of Harris for legitimately substantive reasons isn't "derangement".
But it is when it involves Bernie Sanders? Oh.

All you people do with Bernie Sanders is scream "HE'S CONNECTED TO RUSSIA" and "HE'S PRO GUN", neither of which are remotely true.

Project all you want, but last time I checked, wanting to work with his staff to adress sexual harassment and try to fix that problem was not a problem. It wasn't a big vote, he didn't need to be there and it's not comparable to Kamala Harris refusing to let an innocent person out of prison! End of story. Apples are not oranges!

Trump would defeat her soundly. Dems do not have a consensus unifying candidate in 2020.
Trump will not win solidly against anyone. Half the country hates his guts and he's one of the most unpopular presidents we've ever had! He won in 2016 against someone who was hated equally(or perhaps more) then he was! If Sanders, Biden or someone else had been the nominee, Trump would have lost in 2016
I'm not saying he can't win, but he's not going to win in a "Landslide" even against a weak candidate like Booker or Warren

Kamala sold out to AIPAC!! What a surprise! Jfern was right, neolibs whine about "collusion" by Russia but ignore real collusion with apartheid states like Israel because AIPAC gives them money to support Israeli policy!

Kamala can't get a break from the right or the left

Republicans- Kamala compared ICE to the kkk! Therefore, she supports open borders!
Democrats- Kamala doesn't support abolishing ICE! She is evil!

Republicans- Kamala wouldn't seek the death penalty for a cop killer!
HP!

Democrats- Kamala didn't approve DNA testing for Kevin Cooper! HP

She can't win can she lol

Again, why is Kamala wasting her time in Iowa? She's a horrible fit for that state! Even though rural voters have been trending Republican rapidly, there are still a lot of wwc/rural voters in the dem primary! Does she really think farmer Joe is going to vote for someone like her that's for slavery reparations and culturally leftist ideas(not saying reparations is bad, I just think it's a turnoff to poor whites that have been trending R recently). New Hampshire at least has a more well-educated populace so I could see her spending time there, especially in Rockingham county.

And I doubt it will be a caucus. Most other states that have had caucuses are replacing them with primaries in 2020, so I think Iowa will likely do the same

Harris is definitely one of the more electable democrats b/c she can win over educated suburban voters b/c she's not as left on criminal justice issues. Saying she would support reparations was not a very smart move though.

If Kamala was the nominee, the "Trends" we've been seeing would dramatically accelerate imo. Suburbs would swing even further d but rurals and wwc would swing further R.

Now I'm DEFINITELY voting for Warren, this is crud!
....
So, how long before she backtracks on this? I'm going  to guess she takes it back at the next debate!

I had forgotten about the prison labor thing! Keeping innocent people in prison and withholding evidence is disgusting. She should be ashamed of herself. And don't tell me she had nothing to do with it, she knows exactly what's going on and should have done more to prevent it! Like I said, I'm 100 % for Warren now.

IA- Warren
NH- Warren
NV- Harris*(Harris MUST win Nevada or she will have no chance of winning SC. But all Harris has  to do is win Clark county by double digits. Warren will likely win Washoe, as Bernie will have no chance and will drop out after losing NH. Biden will win rural areas but as long as Harris is landsliding in Clark it won't matter)
SC- Harris
Biden is now out and Harris only has Warren left to face, who she will defeat easily with a combination of Hispanics, Blacks and late thirties-64 with a college degree. 65+ college educated, WCW, 18-39, Asians will vote Warren but it will not be enough
