I assumed number of posts when I filled it out. What do you want as your "title?" (i.e. Sen., Gov., Rep.)

Well the popular vote ended up being a reverse 2000, but there was less than a half million votes in it, but the electoral college ended up being closer to 2004

World (R-PA)/Leneid (R-GA): 304 EV, 50% PV (72,114,454)
Duggan (D-UT)/Peebleton (D-MA): 234 EV, 50% PV (71,987,925)

Popular vote margin: World +126,529

5 Closest states:
Michigan 0.6% (50.3-49.7)
Iowa 1% (50.5-49.5)
Wisconsin 1.6% (50.8-49.2)
Nevada 1.6% (50.8-49.2)
Georgia 5.4% (52.7-47.3)

The day before my party's convention, the polls were within 1 point, and the EC was extremely close, then the convention happened, I won on the first ballot, then this happened the next day:

WTF HAPPENED!? Considering the republican debate was about the same as the democratic one, and I had released a high damage scandal.

That's common when the primary is REALLY contentious.
Ah, ok. That makes sense.

Sen. L.J. Duggan (D-UT)/Sen. Emily Peebleton (D-MA): 366 EV, 53.6% (77,250,026)
Gov. San Tander (R-KY)/ Gov. Edgar Allen (I-R-VA): 172 EV, 46.4% (66,852,354)

There won't be extra stats, as apparently the results spreadsheet didn't save when I tried to export it.

I've noticed that even though some tickets might win in a landslide, there are SO MANY close states that the PV is extremely tight. It just seems weird lol

Both Tander and Leniad lost their home state, that had to hurt.
Tander did by the slimmest of margins though, but your point still stands.
