isn't fiance a term that applies to males and females?  I always thought it was.

Yes, but if it's a woman you spell it as fiancee, not fiance.

It would have been a pretty close election on the Dem side without the GOP crossover.

Obama is going to win Wisconsin by a 13%-16% margin. It's ridiculous to claim that it was because of GOP crossover.

Oh my God, my State Senator is on the TV.

I love Kirk Watson.

And he just made a complete ass of himself. I would've been a much better spokesman for Barack Obama.

I can't believe that guy is a State Senator and Obama supporter and he knows nothing about his legislative record.

I mean, the ethics reform bill he passed as well as the public website of earmarks bill (with Tom Coburn) are two fairly obvious ones that all Obama supporters should know about. And he passed a lot of important bills in the IL legislature.

Also, Matthews' question was ridiculous. Can anyone name anything that Clinton has accomplished?

Obama is the only one who gets this question. McCain and Clinton always get (and will continue to get) a free pass.

The Senate has gotten almost NOTHING accomplished the past few years. The ethics bill co-sponsored by Obama is one of the very few major pieces of legislation passed in the past two years.

Thanks to Bush for finding his veto pen whenever anything makes it to his desk. And the Senate didn't get anything postiive accomplished the 6 years they were in the majority with Bush as president!

I'm pretty surprised by the margin. I was thinking it would be more like 10%-12%.

He is consistently beating his poll numbers in just about every state. I'm guessing that it's mainly because of increased turnout and increased number of new voters that his candidacy has brought into the process.
