Good debate! I really liked the fact that regular people asked 95% of the questions. The less we have of pundits asking their idiotic, biased questions, the better.

CNN did some kind of poll of crowd members...apparently Hillary was crushed.

in New Hampshire... in nevada it was different... need to hear how these people were chosen, would prefer a qualified pollster.....

It was a focus group of 24 independent, undecided voters.

I thought everyone did fairly well. Obama was pretty solid. Clinton was excellent in the first hour, but not as strong in the second. Edwards had a few moments. Gravel was entertaining as always.

Strangest answer of the night was Kucinich on the reparations question. Funniest comment of the night was Biden saying that Kucinich's wife was the best thing about him.

Tom Brokaw isn't too awful, but yeah, basically the rest of the talking heads can't ask a decent question to save their lives.

Pundits like to focus on the most irrelevent, "gotcha"-type crap.  At least most of the questions tonight was fairly relevent to people's lives and came from the mouth's of everyday people.

lol. Wolf seems to be yearning for Anderson Cooper...

Wolf Blitzer is among the worst of the non-Fox News pundits. I don't ever want to see him near a Democratic debate again.

The debate format was great, 100 times better than having that neocon blowhard Wolf Blitzer asking retarded questions for 2 hours.

Watching the debate now;

It is clear that anyone who accuses Hillary of being "pro-war" is outright lying.

The point is that she was firmly in Bush's corner on the war until fairly recently, so it greatly detracts from her crediblity on this issue.  She flip-flopped on this issue later than any other candidate (while Obama and Kucinich opposed the war from the start).

Oh come on, if Obama had been in the Senate at the time, he would have supported the war, don't be silly.

I highly doubt it. Just because he wasn't a US Senator doesn't mean that his opposition to the Iraq War isn't significant. It was still an unpopular position at the time, no matter what capacity he served in.

Biden is always entertaining, that's for sure. I do admire him for his direct, straight-talking style.
