I wish she had won. She sounds so sane compared with KingCon.

She should not remain silent but continue to do her work helping to raise the status of females all around the world. And she should write books.

As for running for office, I can't imagine why she'd want to take a lowly job as a mayor, but maybe it's a good job for a retired person.

Folks shouldn't be running for office because it's a "good job for a retired person;" they should be running because they have real ideas about how to improve the lives of their potential constituents in a meaningful way as well as out of a sense of civic duty (not that Hillary Clinton would know anything about that).

You are right that people running for mayor should have more qualifications than just being retired, but I was specifically referring to Hillary in this case.

She has a lot of political experience under her belt, and she's also pushing 70. She is of retirement age. If she still wants to be politically active, then maybe stepping down to take a job as mayor would be a good fit for her, as long as the people of NY want her.

Excellent news for Trump. And LOL at the idea that mayor of NYC is some joke position for retired people.

That's kind of how I view it for Hillary. She would be stepping down, IMO.

With a 55% unfavorable and a 35% favorable rating she could only hurt the Democrats.

The Clintons don't care, they only care about themselves.

Is that why they established a foundation that helps people all over the world?

You are displaying myopia at its finest.

I envision her starting some sort of political foundation to help get more women involved in politics.

That would be nice.

So your one of the 35% of Americans that likes Clinton? Ok bud. I'd rather go with Bernie and the 61% of Americans that like him. You honestly think Clinton cares about the little guy?

You didn't address my question about the Clinton's foundation. Nothing to say about how much they help people all over the world?

The hatred for Clinton here is getting vile.

Boo Hoo! People don't want a repeated failed candidate to be involved in politcs.

It doesn't matter that Hillary didn't win the Presidency. She was Senator from New York for almost 8 years and Secretary of State for 4 years. It's not like she's another Trump who has no political experience. New Yorkers like her and if they want her for their mayor, then it's no business of yours. And from the looks of your avatar, our politics is no business of yours anyway. Why do you care so much what Hillary does?

She's going to run in 2020, mark my words.

I disagree. She will be too old and won't have the energy she has now. Losing to Obama who was very popular was not that big of a deal, but losing to a guy as weird as Trump, hopefully she's smart enough to realize that there just isn't the backing for her to be President.

At least this is what I hope.

Is it Hillary's fault that she lost, or is it the fault of those who voted for Trump? I say people who voted for Trump ought to be ashamed of themselves for sticking our country with a guy like that.

I wouldn't be surprised. She wants to be president more than anything else. There's nothing inherently wrong with that ambition, but is it feasible at this point for her? I doubt it.

Gotta ask you, where did you get the information that Hillary wants to be President more than anything else? I read a different angle, that she felt it was expected of her. I read that somewhere and the source of the info was Bill Clinton.

I always got the impression from articles like this one that the Clinton duo have always been in pursuit of the White House and the legacy they can leave for themselves. One of Bill Clinton's favorite books, one that he's quoted before, is "The Denial of Death". I found this to be a particularly bizarre book for a seemingly religious man and southern baptist to tout.

From Wikipedia about the book,

The overall message of this book in spite of the likely religious disagreements that the Clinton's may have with the bolded part, have led me to believe that they both see higher office as being the mechanism in which they can "become immortal" in the way the book suggests by leaving a lasting legacy. I think this explains a lot of Bill and Hillary's motivations in regards to politics and how they view the world. And why I also think she's been planning for a run for President ever since the 90's and why she just might not be done yet in her endeavor.

Sorry Timmy but I can't read that article you linked to because it won't let me. (I have an ad-blocker on my computer.)

And regarding Clinton's list of books, you singled out just one book out of many good ones he listed. How can you deduce anything from just one book?
