I actually think that debate was worse for Trump than some of th previous ones - the guy is not a good debater and came off as petty most of the time. When she insulted him, he had nothing to come back with other than childish things like "I KNOW YOU ARE BUT WHAT AM I". And I felt his lack of substance came off more prominently in this debate than in other debates.
He's not a good debater, and he's going against a lawyer who's trained at argument.
He didn't hurt himself, but he didn't move the needle. Hillary does "uncomfortable" better than he does.
I noted that Hillary didn't want to touch the issue of the Clinton Foundation and Pay-for-Play at all. It's a sensitive area, and in conjunction with the e-mails and the Democrats versions of Little Donnie Segretti getting mental patients to disrupt Trump rallies isn't going to sit well with undecided voters if all of this can be coherently laid out. Unfortunately, I don't see Trump as able to do this.
One thing we learned in the primaries is that Trump does not win debates. He wins elections. Debates are overrated and seldom change anyone's mind.
Which why this is a loss for him.
And he'll also lose the election. He doesn't deserve to win. His candidacy has been a joke from the start.
