Shouldn't students be more concerned about grades over drinking?

Yes, but they should be more concerned about grades than eating pop corn, yet the latter is legal.

So should you have to be 21 to eat popcorn, or do you agree with me that the fact that they should be focused more on grades is not a good reason to ban something?

No one said the two were. The implication of StatesRights's post was that if a person should be focusing on grades more than a certain thing, that certain thing should be banned.
