The Conneticuteers Nutmeggers I know all like TKII, why don't people here like him?

^ this.

Considering that a good deal of my misspent youth was in what would become TKII's district, I'm curious what gives. He always seemed like a nice, charismatic enough guy. Are people just leery of him because of the 2014 campaign finance thing?

Also, how serious are the rumors about his candidacy? I'm always reading him mentioned as a potential candidate but no actual stories where "sources close to TKII" cite him as a likely candidate.

On the down-low....

....I have it from a reliable source that CT State Senator Tony Hwang (R) WILL NOT be running for governor next year, preferring to focus on a run for federal office (possibly Congress).

Whose district is he in? I can understand not wanting to be CT Governor, but I really can't understand thinking that you have a shot at knocking off any of the CT Congresscritters.

Himes is my Congressman, he's not losing.

He's more vulnerable than like, Rosa. But agreed, he's in that seat for as long as he wants it.

Erin Stewart is running for Governor.

Lean R.

I mean, let's see if she can win the primary. I feel a little bit like the Dems who were really afraid of Rubio in 2014, but Stewart's definitely the person who's made me feel the worst about my homestate so far.
