He's not winning LA. He's probably not winning San Jose either, but it's not really clear how Asian-Americans in California will vote.

That's because Austin, like most cities west of the Mississippi, is absurdly large in terms of land area. SF is an outlier in that its municipal boundaries are limited mostly to its urbanized area, but the SF metro is actually over twice as populous as the Austin metro.
