You can say it’s unfunny, but there’s no such thing as a joke that goes too far.

Out of curiosity, what percentage of your diet was paint chips when you were a kid?

Your joke is ableist and makes light of the plight of the neurodiverse and persons with limited intellectual ability as well as the disproportionately poor and minority persons living in pre-1978 housing. Do better.
If I had a nickel for every positive contribution you've made to this site, I'd be starving in a ditch right now.
