Antonio's return means that the dream of Grumps someday joining the top 10 is pretty much dead.  Lief will probably lose his spot in the top 10 to Jfern some time later this year, but no one else is likely to lose their top 10 spot for at least ~18 months or so, and probably not for more than two years.

Is it possible to do "most posts this year" tracking or other similar things.

Actually I think that is a fine idea. Right now, this thread only serves to show a few minute changes here and there between the same 10 posters, some of whom have stopped posting long ago or are outright banished from Atlasland.

Curious if the stats for such a thing are even available to the right people.

They would be a good addition, and the only way they'd be available is if someone took screenshots of every page of the members page on January 1...

Also since I'd likely wind up in the top 5 or 10 of this ranking, plsno

Did you make 75 posts in two days(I have a problem)?

Oh, I have before. I once got 1034 over a 30 day period, and that might not even be my highest (I have a huge problem).

I've made more posts since Halloween than you've made in your whole time here

WOW! I need to step up my game...

Though 1034/30 = 34.44444. I've done more then that on some days.

The only thing that doesn't seem to have followed a similar upward trend is the number of new registrants per month. 2008, 2012 & 2016 were only modest years for new members despite the presidential election going on, yet each time, were followed by a year(s) of booming user growth. I wonder why that is.

Perhaps more people start getting interested in analysis in the time after the election? And in the same vein, perhaps midterms focus on the congressional and senate races creates a more analytical atmosphere instead of the intense excitement of the presidential race?
