According to CNN's delegate estimate - Donald Trump is halfway to 1237 at 613 before Illinois is finished tallying and before Missouri is even called.  There are still plenty of contests left including several big ones.  1237 is definitely still doable for Trump.

I checked Pennsylvania for Kasich and if he plans to camp out there, he has basically given up.  It doesn't vote until April 26, I think and it only has 17 delegates according to CNN unless that's a typo.  He really needs to compete in every state the rest of the way, I think not just one insignificant state a month.

I would love nothing more than for Trump to be able to spend the next 6-7 months hammering Hillary Clinton on everything under the sun.  Lord knows she's got an entire fleet of big rigs of baggage that he can exploit.  No doubt she will spend the next 6-7 months hitting Trump.  I bet Trump doesn't even acknowledge Kasich and spends very little time to Cruz.

Remember, with only 3 in the race, it will be easier for Trump to get the 50% threshold in the states that are WTA at that point.  It's like a poker game when one player goes bankrupt - the antes and pots go up.

I guess I'm just bitter that you guys are completely changing a party that I identify with.

I'm only supporting Trump because he's looking like the inevitable nominee and I don't want a liberal Supreme Court.  I voted for Ted Cruz and would prefer it if he were the nominee, but I feel it necessary for the party to hold their nose and coalesce behind the nominee now or soon to prevent 4 more years of the same liberal policies or worse.  That's the only reason I'm supporting Trump.

If the pattern from other southern states (and Kansas City) is followed, late precincts should be better for Cruz than earlier ones, though I'll concede it doesn't look too good.

First off, Missouri is not southern, but the only things out now are about 55% of St Louis City, all of Perry County, and a little bit of Jackson County (Kansas City).  Trump has a 3,000 vote lead, so I think his lead, while not safe, is looking better and better.

Trump's lead is down to 2,450 votes.  Still nothing new from St Louis, but Perry County is all in and basically split between Trump and Cruz.
