How long do states have to solidify their primary/caucus dates?

The Missouri GOP has decided to drop their previous delegate allocation method, which was a simple statewide WTA allocation.  Instead, they’re switching to WTA by congressional district:

Like most other states on the Republican side who do this, each congressional district will get the same # of delegates regardless of whether that district has 300 Republicans or 300,000 Republicans.  This gives a huge advantage to candidates who can appeal to the few GOP primary voters who live in heavily Democratic districts.

This may be the GOP putting every plan into effect to stop the Donald from becoming the nominee.  It's clear Priebus does not want Trump to be his nominee.

OK, I guess the voting is coming up soon.  Originally, I had been intending to dig somewhat deeper into delegate rules, but I guess I'm not actually going to do that.  I've pretty much covered whatever delegate thoughts I had earlier in the thread.

So what do you guys want me to do with this thread?  Should I keep it stickied, or is it not really important enough for that?

Should I put up the primary calendar in the OP?  As I said earlier, you can find the primary calendar on FHQ, the Green Papers, and other websites, so I'm not sure how much it would add, but if people want me to do it, I will.  If so, let me know what format you would prefer.

I still think keeping the calendar itself posted somewhere including convention dates and locations would be helpful so people who are browsing for education or just lurking don't have to keep fishing around with too many websites.  You don't have to put the delegates each state offers as I think there is already a thread on that, but at least keep the schedule up.  If you don't want people posting on it and messing it up, you can always lock it, but leave it stickied as kind of just a reference document.

March 15 poll closing times:

Florida: 7pm ET in most of the state, but 8pm ET in the panhandle.
North Carolina: 7:30pm ET
Ohio: 7:30pm ET
Illinois: 8pm ET
Missouri: 8pm ET

Northern Mariana Islands Republican caucus: no idea Huh

Nice, I like how all 5 states are compacted in this same hour. I imagine that they will be able to make a call on both sides in FL when all the polls close at 8pm (At least on the Democratic side).

I noticed that, too.  This Tuesday will be a lot easier on the bed time than last Tuesday when we had to wait forever for Idaho and Hawaii.

Next week will be rougher with Arizona, Idaho (Democrats), and Utah voting.

True, but they're not as rough as waiting around for Hawaii and Alaska...
