Good Sunday Morning!  I woke up with a pretty large headache so I am staying home from church this morning.  The two main things I am going to watch today are the 2015 Daytona 500 on FOX at 1200 and the Denver Nuggets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder on Fox Sports Oklahoma at 1800.  I will resume the water drinking today.  I've got to behave myself today as I did take a peek of the scale today and it had jumped to 288 which is up 2 1/2 pounds from where I was Friday morning.  In between the Great American Race and the Thunder game, I will put on a coat and take a walk.

I did not abandon the diet.  I had a bad couple of days, yes, but today I've gotten back to my water, walked 25 minutes, and had a bacon and tomato sandwich for supper.  I gained just a bit over the past couple of days, but everybody has bad days on their diets and are not accused of being not committed.

Yes, I did have a bad couple of days and gained 3 pounds back, so im at a net loss of 5.  That could be considered water weight, so I'll countbit as a wash.  I'm confident though with a little discipline, I can start drifting back down again through the 280's.

There is a lot more I could be doing, but I have no reason not to be proud.  I can stand tall because I am giving all out effort.  I am investing in the lives of others telling them what my God has done for me.  I m not where I want to be by a long shot, but I am working every day to get there.  Some days are better than others and I do have set backs, but I am working to achieve what I know I should.  My parents see the effort I'm putting in.  They see im not just wasting my time or their time.  God is doing a good work in me and with His help, I am on my way to being all who He has called me to be, living up to my full potential.  I am a man with a purpose.  I am a man on a mission.  It may be hard for some people to see, but I'm getting better every day.

I am ready for another week of the job search.  I've got one place I'm thinking about going tomorrow morning sometime.  I also hope to hear good tidings from the phone interview I had last Thursday sometime this week.  I'm ready to shift gears from job searching to preparing for a start date.  I am starting to explore help desk possibilities again and the interview from Thursday is a help desk, but I'm doing so knowing that I had decent success as a contractor and then as an employee of Dell.  That job lasted nearly a year and only ended because of downsizing.  As crazy and foolish as it sounds, I feel I could still be there today had my position not been eliminated.  It is what it is, though.  I still had pretty good success there for 11 1/2 months.  I'm confident I can continue that success at another Help Desk.  I am not applying for any run-of-the-mill customer care call centers where I have not had success, but I am applying for help desk call centers where I have had at least moderate success.

Let me say in addition to my big post, that I am still looking for CAD jobs.  It's just that entry level CAD jobs have been hard to come by this month.  Everybody wants 2 or more years of experience.  I've only got 5 months experience total in 2 jobs.  How do I get the experience when nobody wants to give me the experience?  I haven't heard a peep from the Window Washing company.  I'm only adding in the Help Desk possibilities reluctantly.  I would much rather have a job, but I need money.

No, I've just been working hard at the job search today.  I've been at it pretty much all day.  I've got an interview in Oklahoma City tomorrow and waiting on times for two more interviews in Tulsa.  One of the Tulsa interviews is a help desk, the other two are CAD.  And, I've put in a few more applications for various positions and have activated three more staffing agencies.  I will leave here at 1130 tomorrow for the interview in Oklahoma City.

I'll put the odds of you finding a job at 10%. Considering you can't even stand to have an interview with a temperature in the mid 30s w/ flurries (the sort of weather that would be considered quite nice up where I live during this time of year), I'm not optimistic at all.

Funny you should say that, because it snowed at least 2-3" in both OKC and Tulsa today with temperatures in the lower 20's.  That's not a lot to folks in the North and Northeast United States, but it is significant for Oklahoma.  Roads were snow packed in OKC where they had a little more snow.  The snow has moved out now and skies should clear overnight so we'll have sunshine and temps in the high 30's to low 40's tomorrow.  I do have an interview in OKC at 1400 tomorrow so I will be getting out and driving 4-5 hours roundtrip on the melting roads.  I anticipate mostly dry or maybe wet roads, so I don't anticipate trouble, but the grass will be nice and white.

It's not about scaring you, Bushie.  I'm trying to point out your hypocrisy in claiming you are saved by your religion when your own text says you are not.

The point is this:  you believe the Bible so much that you would reject basic science (such as the Big Bang Theory and evolution) because the Bible says so.

The Bible also says that no true Christian can live a life of continual sin.  Check out the Bible verses I sent you.  A Christian that is living in sin surely is not saved based on your religious text. 

Explain YOUR interpretations of the verses I cited if they don't mean what they clearly say.

My faith is on solid ground.  On Christ the Solid Rock I stand.  All other ground is sinking sand.  I am secure enough in my faith that I do not believe a word you said.  Your post is just Satan trying to twist Scripture to convince me I am going to hell.  Wrong buster.  I am saved by faith through grace and not based on my works.  You apparently didn't read the passages about grace.  When Jesus died on the cross, his last words were "It is finished."  This means my sin debt, past, present and future is PAID IN FULL.  I can never do a single thing again to lose my salvation.  Once He saved me, I cannot EVER lose my salvation no matter what I do.  That's not my words.  The Southern Baptists believe in Once Saved, Always Saved.  I adhere to that wholeheartedly and I believe that is the correct view.  If I died right now, I have no doubt I would be entering the pearly gates of heaven where I will find Jesus waiting for me with open arms and utter the words "Well done, my good and faithful servant.  You have been faithful over a few things, I will put you in charge over many things in my Kingdom.  Enter thou into the joy of the LORD!".   I have no doubt and nobody can convince me otherwise, so they might as well stop.
