With my pathetic bowling scores last night, it gives me a motivation to go to the bowling alley every so often and bowl two or three games by myself in an effort to raise my score and get exercise.  I would like to get back into a bowling league next fall so I can have that regular exercise and have fun for 2 1/2 to 3 hours every week.

Good Monday Afternoon.  It is a productive Monday in progress to begin week 4.  I'm still working on the same stuff I was all of last week.  I see the light at the end of the tunnel on this project.  My boss is out all week so the lead drafter is in charge.  I'll watch Monday Night Football tonight.

I'm home from a pretty good day of work.  I finished the project that I have been working on and will pitch in on other coworkers' projects the next two days.  We probably won't start anything new until Monday.  The next two days will be very easy and laid back days.  We'll basically just be killing time until we start fresh on Monday.  There is a chance we may get released early on Wednesday for the holiday, but I won't ask for it, and there is at least an equal, if not greater, chance that we'll stay until the obligatory 1700.  Our boss is on vacation all week, so I assume it will be up to the lead. If we do leave early, it probably won't be until 1600.  Tonight, I am going to watch the Ravens vs. Saints on ESPN and go to bed around 2230.

Good Tuesday Morning!  I am about to start Day 17 of my new job.  This should be an easy day as, again, we are just on mop up duty until Monday.  Tonight, I have the Thanksgiving Worship Service at church from 1830-1930, so it may be 1945 or 2000 before I get home tonight.

Today was a very good day of work.  We are working our way down the list of another project.  There are three of us on this project and as of the end of the day we have 36 drawings in this current project to divide up among the three of us.  We are in the process of converting them back into Visio.  Each drawing only takes 5 minutes or so.  With three of us on the project, there is no reason that we shouldn't have them done by 1000 or 1100 in the morning.  Who knows what we'll do once that is completed.  Our boss is out all week and our assistant lead will be out tomorrow, so we will just have our main lead leading the brigade.  There are two of my contractor colleagues who are still training, which leaves the three of us on this one project.  Tomorrow could be a full day, but there is also a chance we may be released early.  It all depends if any more work has come in.

Are you actually doing any CADD work, or are you just converting large amounts of files?

I'm doing quite a bit of CAD work.  I've been using AutoCAD and Visio very heavily.

It's starting to approach the lunch hour.  It looks like we'll be staying all day as we've submitted our time cards reflecting 8 hours for today.  That's good.  We're done for the morning and we'll reconvene at 1300 to get our next project that we'll work on the rest of the day.  I will take a longer lunch today since we don't have anything to do til after lunch.  I may go about 1145 instead of 1200.
