I'm done with my blood work until March.  I'm now waiting on my breakfast.  I'm having eggs, bacon, and pancakes.  I'll hang out with my folks for a few hours and then head home to Tulsa around mid-afternoon.

This is the really the first time I've had a breakfast like this since late July on the last day of mine and Allison's relationship.  I had 3 over-medium eggs, 3 slices of bacon, and 2 pancakes with about 1/2 c of hot maple syrup.

It may have been 1/4 cup.  The serving size on the fitness app I have said 1/4 c and the cup she gave me was pretty small.  I didn't use any more than what she gave me.

Hi, guys, keep my family in your thoughts and prayers.  Things look grim, but there is an element of undeniable peace.  I can't disclose any more than that, but I will be staying with my folks until Sunday and will be back down again next weekend.  God knows all about it and He is in complete control.

Despite the sad news and my heart hurting right now, I am very excited about Week 8 at work.  My boss on Thursday said he's been finding a lot of encouraging signs with my progress and that we may have found something.  I still make boneheaded mistakes every now and then, Thursday being one of them, but overall he is much more pleased than he was just a couple weeks ago.  If I can just eliminate the mistakes, and I know what to do, I should have no trouble staying on past November 1.  I'm pleased and he seems to be pleased.

I am still at my parents right now.  The situation is dire, but I'm at peace with it.  I will either go home later this evening, or I may wait until early tomorrow morning.  My apartment a/c is on the fritz, so it would be a warm night if I went home tonight.  I would have a nice, cool a/c here at Mom and Dad's.  Do I want to go home and be warm or stay here and stay cool?  I'll decide later.  I am ready to start Week 8 on Monday.

I'm not going to confirm or deny anything right now.  I'm waiting for the right moment to release the information.  Until then, I'm carrying on with life like normal.  I'm getting ready for Week 8 at work.  I have a feeling it will be a good week!

King, you don't have to worry.  I'm not going to miss time because of this.  There's nothing I can do to affect or change the situation, so I might as well stay at work.  This is another short week anyway, as my boss has given me this Friday off, too.

I've eaten at BWW twice in the fall of 2013.  I'm not too thrilled with their food,  to be honest.  I don't like wings generally, so I was only able to get a cheeseburger there both times and felt I've had better burgers.  I only went because the church men's group met there for dinner and football while the ladies had a Bible Study.  It's not a place I would go on my own.

As of this morning, I have officially crossed into the 270's for the first time since this past Spring!!  Granted, I'm barely into the 270's, officially coming in at 279.8, but it was a good sight to see this morning!!
