Your hatred is pathetic, especially for a team that isn't even in your conference.

I admire Bill Belicheck for being a brilliant football mind, but I despise his arrogant attitude.  Others may not see him as arrogant, but that's how both he and Tom Brady come across to me.  The only thing I like about the Patriots is WR Wes Welker is from Ada, Oklahoma.  Although, if I had to choose between the Patriots and the Steelers, a team I also despise, I would have to choose the Patriots and then go put soap in my mouth for speaking such dirty language.

uhhh aren't you a Cowboys fan?

There are some moves and some personnel I do not care for in the Dallas organization.  I am a Cowboys fan, not because of personnel, but because I've grown up a Cowboys fan ever since I first remember being interested in football during the Washington Redskins Super Bowl run in the 1991-1992 run with QB Mark Rypien.  I really got interested during the Dallas Cowboys run the next year.  My father has been a Cowboys fans ever since their inaugural season in 1960.

His displeasure for the Steelers comes from Coach Bill Cowher.  Bill Cowher came across as very arrogant to my father.  Now, one can say that Jerry Jones is arrogant and he is, and my dad really did not like the way he got rid of Tom Landry, the best coach in the history of the team.  Yet, he remained a loyal fan to the Cowboys organization.  I admire those Steelers fans and Patriots fans or any other team who have been loyal to their team through thick and thin and through good decision and bad decision.  Plus, our dislike of the Steelers comes from a competitive standpoint.  They have 6 Super Bowl rings and the Cowboys and 49ers only have 5.  We didn't want anybody usurping the first place position that the latter two teams held.  We were getting that way with the Patriots in the first half of the previous decade when they won 3 of 4 years.

I do have to take something back that I said.  It's not so much the arrogance, it's more of the competitive nature of all three teams that I have a competitive rivalry with the Steelers and Patriots.

I do wish the 49ers could rise from the ashes again.  I miss the old Cowboys - 49ers rivalry with the Danny White/Troy Aikman vs. Joe Montana/Steve Young, Michael Irvin vs. Jerry Rice battles.

What happened to him ?

If I had known this before, I would have picked Houston.

He's recovering from offseason neck surgery that he had in late May. He had to have another surgery about 10 days ago to clear things up and he is likely out for the season or at least until mid-December.  I've heard this may actually be a career-saving move by the doctors, not a career-threatener.

Through the 12:00 pm games and including last Thursday night's game, I am a whopping 4-5.  I missed the Bengals/Browns, Falcons/Bears, Bills/Chiefs, Eagles/Rams, Lions/Bucs.
