Praying for you, Franzl.  Its good to hear you're starting to feel better, but yeah, do everything the doctor recommends.  You don't want to have another one.

Is Jesus gonna make Franzy all better Uncle Bushie?

Grow up.  You don't make fun of people like that.

It sounds like you were woken up at 5:00 am because of a nosebleed in a hospital.  Usually, at hospitals in America, you're up at 5:00 am with nurses poking and proding all over trying to get "breakfast" (aka blood work).  I've never been hospitalized overnight, myself, other than my first 10 days of life, but from what other's have told me the nursing staff are like blood-sucking parasites that leave you alone at 10-11 pm, wake you up every four hours to poke more until time to get up at 5:00 wanting more blood and then all throughout the day.

I can see why you feel like you've just been released from the penitentiary.

Home is a lot nicer after an experience like that....even if it's only one day long Smiley

Yeah, for sure, because at home the odds are better that you can actually rest without the blood-sucking mosquitos on you every four hours.

Yeah, for sure, because at home the odds are better that you can actually rest without the blood-sucking mosquitos on you every four hours.

I complain about them too...but I'm glad they're there...

At any rate, I think I can say nothing serious is wrong with me. The blood tests and various other things they did to me (e.g. heart ultrasound) didn't turn up any irregularities. I don't think they really know what caused my collapse, but they're suggesting it could be a combination of the constant nosebleeding, lack of rest, and poor nutrition in the last several days, and supposedly the stress associated with it all.

Nothing found indicates that a repeat is likely.

Other than that, have to see an ear/nose/throat specialist tomorrow about the bleeding (which hasn't happened since my post at 5am again). And I'm getting antibiotics for a bacterial infection in my throat (apparently that's my "flu".)

Thanks to everyone for your well wishes. Much appreciated. Directly after my passing out yesterday, I was quite distressed. Guess I'm not used to medical problems...so many are less fortunate than I.

I know what you mean, they're pests, but they are necessary pests.  I say this when I have many friends from high school who are nurses.  God bless each one of them.

Anyway, I'm glad you're feeling better and that there seems to be no warning signs of a relapse.  Take it easy the next few days, will you, bro?
