Do you favor the nationalization of American oil companies?

No (D).  I do not favor nationalizing the oil, because while they are power and bottom-line hungry machines, the government isn't that much better.  The government already has our health care and I'm not exactly sure if they'll handle that properly, and I don't want to go any further down the socialist path.  I believe in a free market and thus the oil companies, while their actions are despicable at times, are free to participate in this market as they wish.  We should just have stricter regulations on them so they don't monopolize and manipulate the industry in a way that would hurt the average consumer at 7-11.
