In 1995, Ross Perot announces that he will seek the Republican nomination. After a grueling battle between Perot, Bob Dole and Steve Forbes, Perot wins the nomination and selects Forbes as his running mate.

The Democrats - no change.

Thus the match-up is:

Democrats
Bill Clinton/Al Gore

Republicans
Ross Perot/Steve Forbes

How does this play out?

Bob Dole runs as an independent with Arlen Specter (to balance the ticket), totally fracturng the vote.

THERE IS NO THIRD PARTY. Let's just say Dole, etc endorses the ticket.

Stick with the match-up I created please.
