LOL, you have a truly cute opinion of what your party is. Wealthy Whites aren't voting Republican because they think those damn Democrats are too elitist. College educated Whites aren't voting Republican because they think Democrats are elitist. Suburbanites (of which Trump won and Congressional Republicans won even more handily) aren't voting Republican because they want a folksy party.
