I really hate when we get into 2016 primary re-litigation, but that ship has sailed right here. So here are my two cents that no one asked for-my issues with Sanders and how he ran his campaign in 2016.

Declaring Clinton for giving speeches to Wall Street as corrupt was a massive blow to her and affected how many Democrats saw her even though giving a speech doesn't equal declaring one's allegiance to the financial sector or whatever other conclusions were drawn.

Imagine having 6k posts on a political board and not thinking she is corrupt

Trump would have a field day with him.

Just like in 2016, right?

I guess its time for Harry Enten to move him from no7 at power rankings of dem candidates LOL

Next big myth is that he hasn't support like in 2016 because the field is wider. Actually that helps him because he has strong base.

Next one is that all candidates are adopting his positions so he can't distinguish himself. That's the best one. All these other medicare-for-all are not going to be Bernie after Bernie, they're always going to be late to that party when he is running.

It is only 12 hours & 4M has been crossed now. This is a record & far higher than Harris fundraising which got so much attention.  Probably higher than all other candidates combined.

Also Leahy & Welch both endorse Bernie Sanders.

Leahy endorsed Clinton in 2016, didn't he?

Yes. Also they have history cause Sanders ran once against him.

Many women are afraid of the harassment that would come forward from the Bernie cult that refuses to die out the misogynist taunts  that's hurried  towards extremely brave women like Hillary Clinton or Kamala Harris

Gonna stop you right there

Nothing to stop for. He's right.

You saying he's right exactly proves he's wrong.

Good on Bernie for standing against dictators. Shame most of the responses are deranged tankie maniacs who are now calling Bernie a pawn of Dick Cheney. Socialist apologism for Maduro is disgusting.

Terrible take by Bernie. They are going to smear him with Venezuela anyway from the right. No matter what he says. It can't be stated enought that the UN aid IS welcome in Venezuela. Just not this US "aid"

I wonder how they think foreign policy overall should be handled because chances are their views on it aren’t that great.

Not creating chaos around the world when millions of people are suffering at home would be a solid start.

He's killing the FOX townhall. Dumbing down health care to Marta like to a ten year child was gold.

He really isn’t

He is being very vague on how he will lower health care spending so much

What? He was very specific. He said people will pay more in taxes but overall cost for a vast majority of people will go down because they will not pay premiums, deductibles etc.

But HOW will that decrease in overall spending happen?

Somebody in the health sector will be seeing a reduction in income.

I'm afraid i'm missing the point you're trying to make. What kind of spending are we talking about now? Overall spending by whom? Who mentioned anything on lowering spending for healthcare?

You want per capita health spending down to European levels of gdp, right?

That requires significant reductions in income going into health care related industries

No, it's not me that I want anything, I'm just talking about his performance here. What he wants is a health care as a right. And he talked about that. What you are saying is another subject matter. US is spending per capita on health care more than other developed countries, yet it doesn't guarantee health care to all citizens like many of those other nations do. Isn't that a proof of a bad system?

What I was talking about when I posted my first comment is how it is really to dumb down republican talking points on socialized medicine in like a minute. "He wants to take away your insurance, he wants you to pay more in taxes". "Yeah, but everyone will be insured, nobody will lose coverage, it will cover more things and the cost of your taxes going higher will be offset by not paying premiums, deductibles etc".

He literally put some of his vilest and nastiest supporters into top positions in his campaign. People who published outright lies about Clinton and gloated about voting Jill Stein in swing states all the way up until November 8. Somehow Sanders is responsible for none of this and we should move the hell on. Meanwhile he was bemoaning superdelegates supporting Clinton at a rally not even two weeks ago.

I have yet to see any evidence that shows that Sanders directly supported attacks against Clinton during the general election. All I see is whining from his opponents.
Uh... I didn’t say that. I said that Bernie 2020 has hired individuals who published false stories about Clinton masquerading as journalism, and folks who maliciously attacked her character and encouraged people to vote for Jill Stein. Him hiring them into top positions is indicative of what kind of campaign he’s running. All of this is fine but Bernie must write letters crying about how the big bad mean people at CAP said he was a millionaire? K.

Get over yourself, mate. We know you have a psychotic hatred of Sanders and that every single bad thing that comes out for the Democratic primary is because of him.
Was anything I said a lie or are you just going to lob personal attacks at me?

Everything you say is a lie. Just in general.

Bernie gets tougher questions at this townhall than at the Fox News one. Some pretty much stupid ones.

Oh, come on this last question on socialism. "you want to implement socialism like in USSR". really?Huh

I'm wondering how Clinton bots feel when they wake up each morning knowing their allmighty candidate got sent to the dustbin of history by a guy who can barely formulate a sentence.
