The Dinosaurs went extinct 60 million years ago after what was thought to be a 'environmental winter' caused by an Asteroid.
The good news is that the Dinosaurs ruled the Earth for 200M years previous without incident apart from 4 years when the Trumposaurus ruled briefly for a 4 year period around 132M years ago.
A mere blip in geological history which has been wiped from the record.
Humans have been around for around 70,000 years according to a human skull foind in a cave in Indonesia or Ceylon.
So we have 199.93M years left to dominate the planet.
However, the chances of an ideological group of crazed humans developing nuclear weapons and causing a 'nuclear winter' are around 99.999% in the next 500 years. Statistically speaking, there is also a 37% chance we will turn the planet into a 110 degree F greenhouse as well in the next 200 years.
So we need to either get to Mars pronto or find another planet (or moon) to colonise.
The Dinosaurs simply had better environmental protection policies. Their nuclear disarmament policy was sound and their ISIS separatists were quickly put down.
Their economic, trade, justice and social welfare policies were considered (by some members of the Dinosaur community) a little thin when it came to substance.
