Just when you thought serial killers had been killed off by the Pokemon Go craze......our fine residents of Phoenix are under immediate and apparent danger.

7 killed and counting. Here is the map:

https://litabeck.carto.com/viz/ee705d7a-380d-11e6-ac86-0e787de82d45/public_map

As opposed to Chicago where no one seems to care

2,110 shot and counting. Here is the map:

http://crime.chicagotribune.com/chicago/shootings/

11 people shot in Chicago were not in the map, but included in the numbers.

I will take my chances in Phoenix.

Yeah, you are right.

I did not realise the death rate from Chicago shootings was 15%.

And yes, the one in Phoenix has a pretty high ratio in comparison.

I guess it's something hard for Australians to understand.

To give you a clue, we have one shooting death in Perth in 6 months, and it is front page news:

The situation in Chicago appears insane in comparison.

Who ever thought that and why in the world? Huh

You would assume that everyone walking around with a recording device would inhibit criminal activity.

But apparently not.

Lol!

Let's have a look at what is going on in Chicago.

https://www.timeout.com/chicago/blog/pokemon-go-is-taking-over-chicago-070816

People have stopped shooting each other, and are now shooting each other in virtual reality.

Imagine how rich the first person will become when they invent a real world first person shooter on a virtual reality platform.
