I'm here to announce that I will be running for re-election in the June presidential election! Smiley

Over the last three months, Q and I have worked to make the federal government more active and more efficient.  I think we have achieved this goal.  One-third of all statute passed by the twelfth Senate was written by myself, and adding to that other legislative ideas that were codified into law were written at my suggestion.  Our administration has been able to dominate a good deal of the Senate's business, and my insistence against certain proposals has helped sway the Senate on issues such as the Pacifican Statehood Act.  Additionally, the amount of statute passed by the twelfth Senate has not been matched since the eighth Senate in July and August 2005.  We owe this in part to the procedural oversight of PPT MasterJedi and Vice President Q.

We have passed a constitutional amendment to allow a federal minimum wage, which just barely failed its multi-region ratification vote.  We are in the process of expanding free trade with many of Atlasia's allies.  With the help of Attorney General Brandon H and fmr. Senator Peter Bell we passed an amendment to give the Secretary of Forum Affairs flexibility in what exact hour federal elections begin.  The Senate passed sweeping energy policy reform written by the Secretary of the Treasury which has already begun to show positive results in the economy.  The Senate extended its social security reform program, removed intrusive federal regulations on asbestos, and expanded gun rights and limited abortions in all Atlasian federal territories.

Today I'd like to make history as the second president of Atlasia ever to announce I will be running for a second term.  Q and I ask for your support next month in the hopes that you will agree that we are the best team to continue the level-headed, active work that we have accomplished so far.  In the coming weeks we will highlight our differences with the opposition and explain why we think we deserve your trust for another term in the executive branch.

I would also like to wish all of my opponents good luck.
