I should probably make my opinion on this known.  I do not believe there is a "conspiracy."  I do, however, believe that there are elitists, but it's hardly organized or widespread.  I'm just talking about those assholes who say "Who are you?" when a newbie launches a campaign, or responds to a long speech with "you spelled this word wrong."  Not really the same thing as what's being discussed here.

I should also add, many people generally believe that the FEC is basically made up of anyone who meets in Teamspeak regularly.  And that is where some of the elitists dwell, this is true.  I came in there a few days ago and was greeted with "I see they let anyone in here these days."

Interesting that it is a teamspeak thing as I have never used teamspeak in my life yet am frequently accused of being one of the leaders of this FEC Wink.
I wasn't implying much, just saying that a lot of the unorganized elitists spend time in Teamspeak.  For example Alcon and Peter Bell use Teamspeak a lot and I do not think they are elitists.

Even when Kevin misspells a word?
That's not really the same thing.  Kevin's undecipherable three-sentence posts aren't in the same league as a running mate announcement, a campaign speech, or something similar.

Here is Joe Republic using the phrase Forum Elite Conspiracy the earliest use (May 27) of the phrase I can find: https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=22802.msg490620#msg490620

Whilst you didn't add the "Conspiracy", you seemingly coined the term "Forum Elite" on the previous page where your PM is quoted.
I'm pretty sure you used the term "forum elite" or something similar before Preston did.

Edit, not quite, but close: "political elitism"
https://uselectionatlas.org/FORUM/index.php?topic=22535.msg483676#msg483676

This is actually the type of elitism I believe exists on the forum.  The fact that you exposed it here is all the better argument for you not being one of the elitists yourself, as some others seem to think.
