Yes, it was disgusting how he gave in in 2000.  He should have at least lambasted Bush as illegitimate on the way out.
Absolutely correct.  The only problem with Gore (besides the 'flip-flopping' problem) was that he gave in too soon.  I would have been willing to stand weeks more news coverage about Florida recounts, but no, we had to give into the conservatives who didn't even win in the first place.

Anyway, I would prefer Gore to Clinton, though neither would be particularly good choices.

Well, let's be realistic... It's not like Gore could have kept on talking about Bush's illegitimacy after the 9/11 attacks.
