I was surprised by the "state pride" / "local awareness", or whatever you want to call it, of the Oklahomans.
Oklahoma is kind of "immured" with their support for Sanders. No bordering county (probably including New Mexico) voted for him, even the Texas panhandle refused to support him, like all the Sooners were saying: "Oh, I live in the Sooner State, so I have to vote against Clinton."
Has such ever happened before in another state?

Furthermore, Cruz winning Alaska and Sanders winning Minnesota by such a huge margin was truly surprising.
