We still face an existential enemy who -even though he has lost this election- is far from irrelevant and thinks nothing of undermining our democracy if it suits his goals, and a Republican Party whose allegiance to our representative democracy and its institutions is, at best, uncertain.  Let's not descend into intraparty civil war when so much is still at stake.
